CIMA has organised a Visiting Professor Lecture programme since 1999, inviting renowned professors from top universities round the world to speak on topics relevant to Management Accountancy. Last year Professor Michael Shields delivered a lecture about management accounting change, particularly organisational causes and individual effects. This year, Professor Wai Fong Chua, Senior Associate Dean at the Australian School of Business, will be delivering a lecture on strategising and accounting.

CIMA (the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) is the first chartered accountancy body to offer a global qualification in Islamic Finance, which the CIMA Centre of Excellence is launching on 05 December. Visit www.cimaglobal.com/islamicfinance to find out more.
