ICPA serves up great member benefits

2 October 2009 - ICPA member accountants across the UK can expect some exciting deliveries over the next few weeks.

They’ll be among the first in the country to receive the 2009/10 versions of the three main Tottel tax annuals – Income Tax, Corporation Tax and VAT- which will arrive hot off the press by courier as soon as they are released at the end of this month.

In a separate move, more than 600 ICPA member practises will soon receive a new PR toolkit, aimed at giving them all they need to general valuable publicity in their local media.

ICPA one day seminar on the new compliance/penalty regime

The Board of the ICPA and the Yorkshire Branch are pleased to announce a one-day seminar on the new compliance/penalty regime to be held on Tuesday 28 July in Doncaster.

The morning speaker is Paul Hipkins, Senior Business Manager of the New Penalties Team at HMRC, presenting on behalf of HMRC.

The afternoon speaker is Carl Whittaker of Qdos Consulting, who will be giving the business perspective of the new rules.

The venue is The Punch Bowl Inn, Fieldside, Thorne, Doncaster DN8 4BE.

ICPA announces 600th practice member

CC Associates of Bridgend recently became the 600th practice to join the ICPA and take advantage of our £300,000 Group Professional Indemnity Scheme.

ICPA offers new £300,000 PI cover to members

ICPA members will now receive £300,000 professional indemnity insurance effective from 1 July 2009.

All new applicants will receive the £300,000 coverage, which is fully ICAEW compliant with no increase in subscription price from inception of membership.

The new coverage allows members to grow their practices significantly without the worry of increased costs.

The ICPA is run by accountants in practice for accountants in practice.

Membership benefits include PI insurance, helplines, fee protection, software and Tottel tax annuals.
