Local authority selects Asset4000 to achieve IFRS/SORP compliance and ensure resilience within the asset register

NHS Trust implements Asset4000 to centralise the fixed asset register and maintain IFRS compliance.

19th May 2009: The West Suffolk Hospital NHS Trust has announced the purchase of Asset4000 from Real Asset Management (RAM) to improve its management of over £87m worth of assets. This £20,000 order includes installation, configuration, training and data conversion.

The authority selects RAM’s Asset4000 solution to centralise the fixed asset register and
ensure compliance with IFRS.

Bolsover District Council, an authority which provides a variety of services to the residents of Bolsover in Derbyshire, including refuse collection, housing and leisure facilities, has selected Real Asset Management’s (RAM) Asset4000 to improve the management of its fixed assets. The purchase, valued at £9,500, includes installation, configuration, training and data conversion.

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, a unitary authority which provides social services, education and leisure facilities to residents of Southend, has selected Real Asset Management’s (RAM) Series4000 software to improve its management of over £800 million worth of fixed assets.

With £6 million of fixed assets located across multiple offices and employee homes, strong asset management is critical for the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (Acas). However, outdated spreadsheet-based processes led to questions over the accuracy of asset values and depreciation and created a significant administrative overhead, both at year-end and in updating asset information throughout the year.

The adoption of Asset4000 from Real Asset Management has enabled Acas to streamline asset management processes, driving down costs.
