TaxAssist Accountants are delighted to say that 2009 has been an excellent year for new franchises joining the network. Over the year a total of twenty four new franchisees have joined bringing the UK network to 175 franchisees.

It would be easy to put this down to the recession and whilst it’s true that around 25% of the new franchisees joining this year have opted for redundancy, everyone joining TaxAssist Accountants has had the option of a good career path or setting up in practice themselves but has taken the decision to join us.

TaxAssist Accountants, the UK’s leading accountancy and taxation service for small businesses is delighted to announce Mark Fordham, Franchisee for St Albans and Harpenden, was awarded the Bronze award at the 2009 British Franchise Association / HSBC Franchisee of the Year Awards.

Mark walked away with the Bronze Award and a cheque for £2,000.

TaxAssist Accountants, the UK’s leading accountancy and taxation service for small businesses is delighted to announce the opening of their 90th Shop Front. The franchisee that hit the 90th spot is John Thomas who operates from Newport.

John, who joined TaxAssist Accountants on the January 2009 training course and moved into his shop front in May, advises:

With a mixture of backgrounds encompassing Accountancy, Financial Services and even a Barrister this new group of franchisees further strengthens the TaxAssist Accountants network taking it to a total of 165 territories awarded across the UK.
