"Icons of Technology" competition proves tough going

The unique online competition where financial software supplier Digita is challenging the accountancy profession to name famous people connected with the world of technology, is approaching its deadline on June 30th with only a few entrants successfully identifying all 40.
Dermot Hamblin, Head of Sales at the Thomson Reuter owned Digita said: “One character in particular, number 3 on the Sergeant Pepper-style website image, has been causing problems and perhaps we were being a bit too clever as he is less associated with technology in practice and more well known for his illustrations of unnecessarily complex and implausible contraptions.
“I hope this clue will help those who have worked really hard to complete the competition by June 30th and so be eligible to go in the draw to win an iPod Touch."
All visits will be logged and those with correct answers will be drawn at random at the end of June will win the iPod Touch.
