OpenAccounts announces 30% increase in growth of North American customer base

OpenAccounts Ltd has announced its continued success in North America. During 2004, OpenAccounts saw a 30% increase in the growth of its North American customer base compared with the previous year, and has seen a 15% increase in North American customers in 2004. Orders by existing OpenAccounts customers have also increased 150%, doubling the value of orders received in 2003 with the average value of each order increasing by 10%.

The OpenAccounts office in Boston, Massachusetts was established 18 months ago and OpenAccounts now has 90 customers in North America across many different sectors. OpenAccounts has also joined forces with a sixth business partner, MobileTec International, a partnership which will allow OpenAccounts to further develop its customer base within the North American public sector.

OpenAccounts' recent merger with CedAr brings the total number of the group's customers to over 130 in North America. All customers have been invited to attend a combined user conference in May, and OpenAccounts expects to see over 100 of its customers present.

Graham Kimberley, vice president of business development at OpenAccounts, comments:
'Our continued success in North America highlights the fact that the US economy is really on the up. Companies are investing more money into their finance and accounting systems, and more and more of them are recognising what a cost effective and efficient solution we have on offer at OpenAccounts. We're constantly researching and developing our products to ensure we fulfil all of our customers' needs, a fact highlighted by the continued investment from existing users as well as from new customers. Our new partnership with MobileTec will ensure we continue to go from strength to strength over the next 12 months.'
