Italian accountant accused of rigging election

A controversial Italian accountant, Paolo Oliverio, has been accused of kidnapping two priests in a plot to "rig" a clergy election.

Oliverio, along with five others, is in prison. The men accused of having sequestered two fellow order members in order to “rig” last May’s elections for the post of superior general, the Irish Times reported.
