Two thirds of professionals regularly or occasionally engage with training, qualifications and general CPD, according to a Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) poll.
The figures are promising; however the CIPP would like to gain a greater understanding of attitudes towards training and development from professionals working payroll, finance and accounting and HR.
As such it has launched a new learning and development survey looking into why professionals in general may not undertake training and qualifications regularly and how much opportunity professionals get through their employer.
The CIPP is going to be focussing on CPD this year due to the introduction of automatic enrolment and Real Time Information (RTI). Automatic enrolment will pose the question on how payroll, finance and HR will work together to achieve an end result and for most organisations the question is being asked as to where the responsibility lies.
Take part in the CIPP survey, which runs up until 3 February.
