Advanced achieves 100 per cent recommendation for third year running

Advanced Business Solutions (Advanced) today announces that 100 per cent of OpenAccounts users that took part in Charity Finance Magazine’s Annual Accounting Software Survey, would recommend Advanced to other charities. This is the third consecutive year that the survey results reveal that 100 per cent of charities would recommend business applications and services provider, Advanced.

Now in its sixth year, Charity Finance Magazine’s Annual Accounting Software Survey attracts participation from all types and sizes of UK charities. Participants from 142 different UK charities took part in the 2012 survey with each participant being asked to rank its accounting software and supplier across a range of criteria. Survey questions included - which accounting package do you use? how do you rate your accounting software supplier? and would you recommend your current supplier to other charities?

According to the survey findings, 100 per cent of participants using Advanced’s financial management system, OpenAccounts, would recommend Advanced to other charities.

Simon Fowler, Managing Director of Advanced Business Solutions (Commercial division) says, “We work hard to ensure that OpenAccounts is perfectly suited to the needs of charities and that we fully understand the requirements of our charity customers. We are therefore delighted that for a third consecutive year, 100 per cent of OpenAccounts customers participating in the survey would recommend us to others.”

In addition, OpenAccounts/Advanced came out top for web-enablement functionality and provision of upgrades/updates, achieving a score of 2.67 and 2.43 respectively (where 1 is average, 2 is good and 3 is very good). Advanced also scored highly for technical support, knowledge of the charity sector and commitment to the charity sector.

Over 200 not-for-profit customers use Advanced’s systems to retain control, improve visibility and gain efficiencies. Advanced’s charity customers include The Donkey Sanctuary, RSPB, The Brendoncare Foundation and Action for Children.
