If there is one thing that Apple excels at, it is making great hardware.

I myself have been using the same MacBook Pro for the past four years as my main business computer and have, as yet, been unable to find a good reason to upgrade. These things are bulletproof!

Over two years ago, BrightPay made a decision to develop payroll software which would run natively in Apple’s operating system, OSX.

We could see a growing trend, particularly with younger businesses, of a willingness and even a desire to trust everything to Apple’s ecosystem. This meant that they would need business software compatible with the Mac. Sure, cloud software can meet that need but not as elegantly as native Apps.

Employer files created using the Mac version of BrightPay are compatible with the Windows version and vice versa.

The beta version of BrightPay 2015/16 for the Mac is available for anyone to try out. Simply email [email protected] and we will send you a download link.

Auto enrolment functionality and some other features are not yet available in the beta but these will all be added in the coming months.
