Employees are fundamental to the success of BrightPay. We have 19 staff including directors, development, support, sales, marketing, HR, and accounting. Here’s some of the BrightPay team, with the exception of some of our newest members.

The Development Team

BrightPay’s directors, Paul Byrne and Ross Webster, are also chief developers of our software. BrightPay and Bright Contracts have been designed by Ross, while our Irish payroll and accounting software products have been designed by Paul.

The development team has recently expanded and now consists of five members, all working on various projects, including a Mac version of BrightPay.

The developers are repeatedly thanked by customers for providing such quality software.  In a recent survey, 99.8% of customers rated the quality of BrightPay as excellent, very good or good, while 99.5% described it’s interface as user friendly.

The Support Team

We take pride in the reputation of BrightPay’s customer support. As a customer once told us, “the gem of BrightPay is their Customer Service Team”.

Our support team look after 40,000 customers across the UK and Ireland and are praised on a daily basis for being “friendly, knowledgeable and helpful”. Customers get to know our support team by name allowing them to deal with the same person if they need further assistance.

The support team have recently been nominated for a number of awards, including “Best Payroll Support Team” and “Outstanding Customer Service” at the Payroll World awards which take place later this year.

The Sales & Marketing Team

The team work to improve brand awareness across the UK in a very competitive environment. This is done by hosting auto enrolment webinars, email campaigns, auto enrolment guides, offering online demonstrations, sponsoring conferences for bookkeepers and accountants and much more.

HR & Accounting

The company also consists of two accountants who assist with Irish based accounting software and two HR professionals who provide support for Bright Contracts.

Bright Contracts allows you to create staff handbooks and employment contracts for your employees. With qualifications in employment law, both HR professionals are on hand to assist with any queries you may have.

Expansion of the BrightPay Team

We are in the process of hiring two new support members due to the rising level of new customers. To meet technology demands, we are also expanding our development team, with a new office located in Northern Ireland.
