With the launch of Jordans Corporate Law Limited, corporate service provider Jordans is the latest company to receive Alternative Business Structure status.

The new law business was granted its ABS licence by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) on 5 September 2013, effective from 10 September 2013.

Earlier this year, Jordans appointed experienced lawyer, Debbie Farman, to spearhead the expansion. As Director of Legal Practice and the COLP for the new law firm, she is currently boosting the existing corporate governance and legal teams with further specialist recruitment.  Ms Farman explained how the application for ABS status was in answer to clients’ ever-changing needs and a natural progression for Jordans who already enjoy a great reputation within the professional community.

“Our mission for Jordans Corporate Law is to provide high quality, non-contentious corporate and commercial legal advice and services at fair and transparent prices.”

“We do not intend to explore areas of the law outside those that we are already experienced in and well known for. The establishment of the ABS is a consolidation and enhancement of the services we currently provide to our clients.”

“We see the introduction of an additional regulator to our already highly compliant corporate governance and legal offering as an additional value-added benefit to our client base.”

The Jordans group of companies now comprises Jordans Corporate Law Limited, Jordans Limited, Jordan Publishing and Jordans Trust Company.

Jordans Limited has been providing professional business services for 150 years. These services now include company formations and administration in the UK and internationally, business information and conveyancing support.
