Press Statement

Keytime, a leading independent integrated software provider is delighted to announce the acquisition of cloud-based bookkeeping software business Arithmo, extending its position as a provider to the UK’s 30,000 accountancy firms and 4.8 million small and medium-sized businesses.

With a subscriber base of more than 2,700 accountancy firms and businesses across the UK, the combined business is the leading independent supplier to the market of desktop and now cloud-based accountancy, payroll and bookkeeping solutions.

Arithmo is a fully scalable cloud-based bookkeeping system that allows accountants to take control of how their clients record business transactions, meaning businesses are better able to collaborate with their accountants to drive growth.  Furthermore, accountants are able to have their own version of Arithmo, fully branded in their company identity and logo.

The combination of Keytime and Arithmo is a compelling offer to accountants in practice and business, whilst also reinforcing Keytime’s place in the market.  With impressive results in this year’s Software Satisfaction Awards and Arithmo joining the family, Keytime's strong growth continues.

James Cryne, Managing Director of Keytime said:

“I’m very excited to announce that Arithmo will become part of the Keytime group of companies.  We’ve worked closely with Arithmo over many years, offering integration with Keytime Accounts Production from an early stage.  Arithmo joining us felt like a natural step, allowing us to push forward and offer cloud-based bookkeeping to both our accountancy and SME customers”

Mike Parkes, Director of Arithmo said:

“Joining Keytime opens a whole new development, sales and marketing resource to us.  Opportunities like this don’t come along every day and I’m very happy with the opportunities that joining Keytime provides us, allowing us to grow as a business.  Keytime’s philosophy of offering quality integrated products and support combined with great value for money has always attracted us to them.  Speaking with James and hearing the values and drive he promotes throughout the company assured me that this was the right move for Arithmo.”
