Venture Rebrands to ABN AMRO Commercial Finance
Venture Finance has recently adopted the name of its Dutch parent organisation to become ABN AMRO Commercial Finance. The change took place on 29 February and marked an important step forward for a business that was already established as one of Britain’s leading asset-backed lenders. The rebranded company is also set to make available an expanded portfolio of banking services to the UK market via ABN AMRO Commercial Banking in the UK. These will include cash management, BACS, and inter-bank payments and leasing facilities.
One of the largest banks in the Netherlands, ABN AMRO has owned Venture since 1992 and the rebranding will involve a more integrated relationship between the two companies. For clients, this will mean greater access to a range of international and cross-border services through ABN AMRO’s operations in the Netherlands, France and Germany. “As part of a global company, we are now in a stronger position than ever to provide a wider range of services and support our clients’ growth ambitions, both at home and abroad,” says UK Managing Director Peter Ewen.
The newly branded ABN AMRO Commercial Finance remains committed to serving its established UK client base, a group ranging from start-ups to £250m turnover companies. Invoice and asset-based lending will remain at the core of the company’s offering, while familiar processes and systems will also remain unchanged, ensuring that clients and business partners experience continuity of experience.
The rebranding will meld Venture’s well-regarded commitment to service with the values of its parent, creating an organisation that is more than the sum of its parts. “This rebrand brings together our ethos of excellent service with ABN AMRO’s commitment to professionalism, ambition and reliability,” says Peter Ewen.
Commenting on the rebranding, Luuc Mannaerts, CEO at ABN AMRO Commercial Finance Group, stressed the importance of the UK operation to the ambitions of the wider organisation. “Venture's culture of service excellence and wealth of asset-based lending experience is important in further developing the asset-based lending market in Western Europe,” he says. “This change also signifies the importance of commercial finance to the whole ABN AMRO group.”
