HMRC has produced a free tax deadline calendar [1] for agents which flags up important dates through the tax year.

The calendar, which will be available through the agent part of HMRC website very shortly commences from 6 April and provides relevant dates throughout the year in relation to both income tax and employer obligations, listing due dates such as deadlines for P11D's, payments on account for SA and similar. The reverse of the calendar provides an overview of other repeat obligations, both fixed and variable, including filing dates for the Construction industry (fixed) and for VAT and Corporation tax (variable).

This will provide a useful aide memoir for those agents unfamiliar with any of the deadlines, and for staff new to certain areas. It also serves a useful purpose in highlighting the key months with several obligations in them. However, most experienced agents will know many of the deadlines as second nature.
