Section 222 election

Denise Upham needed to compete an election under section 222, TCGA 1992 for a client. Is there a set form for this, or is it just a case of designing one's own form for this election, asks Denise in her query of 17 August.

Alan Webb replied to this one, and stated that it was just a case of drafting a letter with the necessary details for the client to sign. I would add that this informal letter should be unambiguous and include full details of the property and the effective date from which the election should apply.
