A Brighton insolvency practitioner has been jailed for stealing £235,000 while working for mid-tier accounting firm Chantrey Vellacott DFK.
Garry Hacker was sentenced at Lewes Crown Court to three years in prison after admitting theft and fraud at Brighton Magistrates’ Court back in May.
As reported in the Brighton and Hove News, the Saltdean-based practitioner carried out the offences over a 10-year period at the firm’s Hove office.
