HMRC searches for GAAR panel chair

HMRC has invited applications from individuals to take on the role of chair of the government's General Anti-Abuse Rule (GAAR) advisory panel.

The functions of the panel are to give opinions to HMRC and taxpayers about the application of the GAAR to individual cases referred to the panel and to approve HMRC’s guidance on the GAAR.
