The House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee will publish its annual report on the Finance Bill this week. Each year, following the budget, the House of Lords appoints a sub-committee to examine selected aspects of the Finance Bill. Its reports focus on issues of tax administration, clarification and simplification rather than rates or incidence of tax.
This year the Committee have been looking specifically at three aspects of the Finance Bill:
- The changes on taxation of pensions contributions
- Taxation of foreign profits.
- Real Estate Investment Trusts
The Committee's report will be published at 11:00am on Tuesday 23 June.
