Stamp duty on Aim shares to be scrapped

Investors are happy with a Budget announcement to abolish stamp duty for shares quoted on the Alternative Investment Market.

The 0.5% stamp duty reserve tax on UK investment funds, paid by buyers of shares, will be scrapped from April next year.
