KMPG has signed a three-year deal to use web-based project management software from US supplier KeyedIn Solutions.

Under the three-year deal for an undisclosed sum, the Big Four firm will use KeyedIn's software to help organise and provide services to clients.

Tom Brady, director at KPMG in the UK, said: “Our programme onshore/offshore deployment model provides the ability to provide a high quality, but scalable service to our clients."

KeyedIn says that it has 30,000 users of its software, which is used for project management and enterprise resource planning.

Cloud computing is changing the way accountants wok, according to a recent survey of AccountingWEB members, although many firms are confused by the terminology and technicalities surrounding the concept.
