The house that Jobs built is the latest company linked to a potential Twitter acquisition, along with interactive entertainment software giant Electronic Arts. Jon Wilcox reports.
FaceBook, Microsoft, and Google have all apparently tried and failed, but now Apple has been linked to a potential acquisition of micro-blogging website, Twitter.
Reports of the $700m acquisition talks have surfaced on several sites across the Web, including TechCrunch, which reports a deal could be reached ahead of the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in June. If accurate, it would mean that Apple has valued Twitter $200m higher than FaceBook, which is rumoured to have had a $500m deal rejected earlier in the year. Not bad for a Web 2.0 website that is yet to reveal a business model.
