UK financial software house CODA has gone live with the first commercial release of its web-based CODA 2go system, just 15 months after the company first announced its intention to move into Cloud computing. John Stokdyk reports.
The first public version of CODA 2go is described by the company as an "opportunity to cash" system combining sales ordering and sales ledger functions. The system is available to rent for 70 per user a month, and includes a try before you buy 30-day free trial.
CODA is the first developer to create an accounting system based on Salesforce.com's Force.com online application platform and CODA 2go links directly into the Salesforce CRM application.
