Exmouth-based tax and accountancy software developer Digita has signalled its intention to take on the likes of Sage, CCH and IRIS when it launches a new practice management product next week.
Digita's Practice Management package has become an open industry secret in recent weeks and will complete the developer's portfolio of practice tools based around Microsoft's SQL Server database and .NET development architecture.
Digita managing director Jerry Rihll confirmed as much in March when explaining his reasons for undertaking the development work to create the ICAEW IT Faculty's prototype Open Standard for data exchange.
