Ex-Microsoft employee jailed for embezzlement

A former Microsoft employee has received a custodial sentence after being found guilty of embezzling nearly $500,000 from the Redmond corporation by a US District Court judge in Seattle.

The man, Robert D. Curry, was director of business development for Microsoft's Strategic Partnerships Team in the Online Audience Business Group before he was fired by the corporation in January once allegations came to light.
