It's been a while since we've seen automotive-themed laptops, but ASUS has come to our rescue with a garish model that would have the boys purring on the set of Top Gear. Gail Purvis pays homage.
The ASUS-Automobili Lamborghini VX7 is designed to emulate the style and performance of Lamborghini cars, and can screech its way into your lap with outrageous orange styling and rear cooling vents modeled on the car's taillights and exhaust.
Others may laugh, but like the cars it's modelled on this laptop packs a lot of what Jeremy Clarkson would call "poke". The PC runs on quad-core Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7 processors, and is the first to use NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 460M GPU. It comes with USB 3.0, has a Blu-ray combo drive and runs Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit).
The specs include 3GB of video memory, two 7,200 rpm 750GB hard drives giving a total of 1.5TB storage. Ideal for performance gaming, multimedia or online entertainment like high-speed online filing with HMRC.
