BCC warns over fragile economic upturn. By Dan Martin
The UK economy experienced a modest revival in the first three months of the year but the recovery must be carefully supported to prevent a relapse in growth, the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) has warned.
Releasing the findings of its first quarter economic survey, the BCC said GDP growth was up with both the manufacturing and service sectors seeing modest improvements.
It cautioned however that overall results were mixed indicating firms still face acute risks.
