Online betting exchange Betfair has recently gone through several changes within the boardroom, with executive chairman Sir Robert Horton and non-executive directors Justin Dowley and Nick Irens resigning their positions with immediate effect.

The reshuffle has meant that a surprise appointment has been made, with head of IT and operations David Yu, replacing Stephen Hill as the new CEO. The decision to ditch plans to float last year has been cited as the reason for Stephen's immediate departure.
