Companies face new anti-avoidance measures

The Government has introduced measures to prevent tax avoidance by companies.

The Inland Revenue said changes in three areas will build on measures announced in the Pre-Budget Report in December 2004.

The paymaster general's statement on these measures, to be introduced in the Finance Bill, is now available in Hansard.
