CPD an ethical obligation says CCAB

CCAB Chairman Paul Druckman called continuing professional development (CPD) "an ethical obligation for qualified finance professionals in the modern business world" in his speech to at the first CPD conference hosted by the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) at Chartered Accountants' Hall, London last Friday.

All the CCAB bodies have introduced CPD programmes for professionally qualified accountants, which are more flexible and recognise a wider range of development activities than has previously been the case.
