DTI renamed in Brown's government revamp

The much criticised Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is to be rebranded with a new focus on enterprise and red tape reduction, new prime minister Gordon Brown revealed today.

Has it not been proven time and time again that it is not the marketing of the name that is important but the substance of the changes being put into operation.

suggest a tax cut

Which shows how little they know about business or enterprise, neither of which are in the slightest motivated by tax

Tax is, after all a residual distribution out of profit. The focus should be on making profit
