Internal auditors still in demand

The recruitment market may have been tough last year, but internal auditors are still top of the pile, according to new data from Barclay Simpson.

Despite a 6% contraction in the economy, there has only been a 1% reduction in the number of people working in internal audit, said the corporate governance recruitment specialists.
