New education and training director at ICAEW

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) has appointed Dr Raymond Madden as its new Executive Director of Education & Training. He takes over from Professor Brian Chiplin who retired in November 2004.

Dr Madden will join the ICAEW on 6 June from ABN AMRO Bank where he was Senior Vice President, Head of Learning. He joined ABN AMRO in April 2001 as Head of the Academy for the investment bank and in 2002 became Global Head of Learning and Development for the wholesale business.
