New European business association launched

Three business organisations have announced that, as of April 25, they have launched a new "EU-level confederation."

The European Confederation of Directors' Associations (ECODA) held its launch event at the European Parliament on Monday.

The confederation's three founder members are the UK's Institute of Directors (IoD), the Institut Fran§ais des Administrateurs (IFA) and the Association Belge des Administrateurs (AB).

ECODA says that the new Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA) is to join ECODA this month, and that Spain's Instituto de Consejeros-Administradores (IC-A)
