Romag shares remain suspended amid accounts probe

Shares in specialist glass manufacturer Romag will remain suspended until it can publish its report and accounts for the year to September 2010.

On 31 January the board of directors requested the immediate suspension of trading in the company's shares following the disclosure of a £3.97m payment from the then-chairman John Kennair into trading subsidiary Romag Limited.

Kennair told the board he had made the payment in the second half of the 2010 trading year to avoid a write-down of payments to certain clients.
