CCH Tax Factory recognised for ‘innovation’

CCH’s Tax Factory software has been shortlisted for Best Technology Innovation at the prestigious Taxation Awards.

The award by Taxation magazine, one of the UK’s leading dedicated tax publications, is in recognition of significant technology developments in the past year that benefit tax professionals.

CCH’s Tax Factory was shortlisted because it allows practices to operate a best of breed policy without compromising practice efficiency, which normally occurs due to the inefficient management of data held in the different applications.

Although there are API (Application Programming Interfaces) systems which allow the sharing of static information such as names and addresses, Tax Factory is unique in that it also shares financial information and automates tasks, while applying the practices’ business rules and security. Importantly it also allows the firm to retain control of their own development strategy and be able to manage the range of client data communicated between systems and automate batch tasks from outside of the application.

The winner of the award is announced on May 21st.
