Access Accounting has been shortlisted in the Accountancy Age Awards ‘Mid-tier Software Package’ category – just days after learning it had also been shortlisted in the Sift Media Software Satisfaction Awards 2008. Both awards are for the business and accounting software house’s flagship Access Dimensions solution.

John Beech, managing director for Access Accounting, commented: “I’m delighted that Access Dimensions should be shortlisted once again. Our solutions are constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of customers. Being shortlisted for this award is testament once again to the valued efforts of our team.”

Now in their 14th year, the awards are recognised as the voice of the industry and reward the contribution of individuals, teams and organisations, their performance and results. This year’s panel of influential judges include Katherine Lee, finance director for YouGov, Alex Horne, managing director for Wembley Stadium, Ian Dyson, FD for Marks & Spencer, Michael Izza, CEO of ICAEW and Faisal Islam, economics editor for Channel 4 News.

The winners will be announced at a celebratory awards ceremony at Battersea Park Arena in London on 12th November 2008.
