Funky Functions: Useful gems in Excel's Analysis Pack
Simon Hurst investigates the contents of Excel's Analysis Toolpak and highlights several functions that could help accountants.
The recent ExcelZone Compendium digest on functions and formulae mentioned that you could increase the number of functions available to you by going to the Excel Tools menu, Add-Ins option and installing the Analysis Toolpak.

My personal favourite
...has to be the WORKDAY function whereby you can return a date that falls a specified number of workdays after a given start date. It's one of the more complex calculations to perform without the Analysis Toolpak installed, and has obvious uses in business when it comes to calculating billing deadlines.
