I suppose, going with the spirit of the times in two senses (non-exclusivity and cost-cutting), you should also note that:
"Other spreadsheet and presentation software is also available ..."
e.g. Open Office which is free-of-charge (but may require a little effort to reproduce the examples given in the article)
