CFOs call for more responsibility and fewer rules in narrative reporting

Increasingly complex regulations are at risk of seriously limiting the usefulness of narrative reporting, according to a new report from the ACCA and Deloitte.

The report surveyed 230 chief financial officers in listed companies across nine countries, 65% of whom said they would like to see more discretion and less regulation.
