FSA chief steps down

- Hector Sants has announced he is leaving the FSA
- His announcement comes at a time when the FSA is under threat of being disbanded if the Conservatives win the election
- The FSA said it would appoint a successor in due course
Hector Sants has confirmed he will be leaving his role as CEO of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) after two and a half years.
