XBRL releases draft taxonomy for IFRS

At the end of March, the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation released a draft version of its taxonomy for international financial reporting standards (IFRS) statements rendered in the business reporting language XBRL. John Stokdyk reports.

The draft IFRS Taxonomy 2008, available as a free download from the IASC site, translates IFRSs into XBRL, the eXtensible Business Reporting Language.
