Distinguished speakers from Companies House, HMRC and two top ten accountancy practices will be joined by a multi-talented motivational speaker at software developer Digita’s Annual Conference at the Forest of Arden Hotel, near Coventry this month.

Former District Inspector of Taxes and successful chartered accountant, Bill Docherty founded his company Persuasion in 2000 specialising in the Science and Art of Persuasive Communication. He trains and develops leaders and presenters in the business world and professions and regularly speaks at conferences as a motivational speaker.

Conference organiser Karen Green said: “Bill is a very unusual individual. As well as having a successful professional career both with the Inland Revenue and in practice with Andersen, PriceWaterhouse and Robson Rhodes, he is also a Master Practitioner and certified trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming, a hypnotist, a member of the Manchester Magic Circle and an ex paratrooper.

“His widely diverse experience and motivational qualities will certainly bring something new to the conference which he will address on the subject of “Growing your accounting Practice”.

Bill Docherty is the Chairman of the Institute of Directors for Manchester and is an advisor to the North West Development Agency and the North West Regional Assembly on European matters.

Digita’s Annual Conference takes place at the Forest of Arden Hotel, Meriden near Coventry, on 15 - 16 March 2007. Conference delegates can choose from different session formats designed for their peers at similar-sized firms.
