Pastel Solutions Win Early Praise In Countdown To Satisfaction Awards

The Pastel software range - which is currently the subject of a reseller recruitment campaign - has been singled out for early praise in the countdown to the AccountingWEB Software Satisfaction Awards 2009.

With Pastel being one of the few suppliers to grab an increased share of the SME market over the last two years, the company has been named in the AccountingWEB Form Guide To Award Contenders as one to watch.

The fact that MYOB – the highest placed desktop application in the 2008 awards - has now pulled out of the market prompted AccountingWEB to forecast that Pastel now has an opportunity to “progress further”.

Pastel offers a portfolio of international solutions which can handle from one to 1,000 users, with its best known package, Pastel Partner, being used in more than 50 countries by in excess of 180,000 businesses.

The supplier has also being making inroads in the Enterprise level market with Pastel Evolution which costs up to 50% less than rival products such as Iris Exchequer, Pegasus Opera and Access Dimension. With 6,000 users globally it is being well received by UK and Irish businesses who are looking for higher value solutions than are currently on offer, without sacrificing any functionality.

Part of Pastel’s recent success story in the UK has been a drive by Pastel UK & Ireland to recruit resellers.

“We are managing to recruit resellers in what is a difficult market,” says Director Anthony Boggiano. “And to maintain our momentum we are now looking to appoint even more suitable resellers to further strengthen our channel . . .”
