Pegasus Software shortlisted for three Software Satisfaction Awards

Pegasus Software, the leading supplier of accounting and business software to UK SMEs, has been shortlisted for three Software Satisfaction Awards; Opera II for mid-range financials, Opera II for Payroll, plus XRL for the Excel-based application.

Two of the three Partners shortlisted for the Reseller of the Year category are also Pegasus Partners, HBP Systems and JMC IT.

Commenting on the nominations Kevin McCallum Commercial Director at Pegasus said “ To be represented in four categories for both Opera II and our Partners is testament to the work both Pegasus and our Partner channel put into making Opera II the market leading product it is today. This announcement comes hot on the heels of our announcement to release a new Sales Pipeline Management module for Opera II due for release in September. We also have a number of key releases planned over the next few months to include more new modules and significant enhancements to existing modules, all designed to maintain Opera II’s dominance of the market”.

The annual awards scheme is run in association with the Business Application Software Developers Association (BASDA) by Sift Media, a leading B2B publisher of online communities including AccountingWEB, MyCustomer.com, HR Zone, TrainingZone, Finance Week, UK Business Forums and BusinessZone. Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in London on Tuesday, 9 October.

The Software Satisfaction Awards are based on the views of genuine users of business applications, not those of a judging panel. As a result, the awards are a guide to any business considering its software options. The full results will be published in the 2007 Software Satisfaction Annual.
