An accountant's guide to building an IT consultancy

At the ICAEW IT Faculty's March 2003 conference, Keith Malcouronne from Staines-based Bolton Colby Chartered Accountants explained how his firm had developed a technology consulting business that now contributes £1m a year to its fee income.

The IT Faculty event, 'Making Practice Perfect' was designed to encourage practitioners to consider the business opportunities of developing IT services, and Malcouronne's talk offered a step-by-step guide on how to do it.
