CaseWare and Mercia deliver paperless audit package

The paperless audit engagement is now feasible, claimed Credence Software, following its collaboration with Mercia Group to create an audit working paper system around CaseWare software.

Called CaseWare Paperless Audit, the system replicates Mercia's audit methodology within CaseWare and provides intelligent links between scanned document files and the audit and reviewing process.

Lanched in early April, CaseWare Paperless Audit is already in use at six UK firms, explained Garry Tomlinson, managing director of Credence, CaseWare's exclusive UK distributor.
