Consolidators consolidate as Vantis buys Numerica

Accountancy consolidator Numerica is to be sold in a two-way £15.8m deal with Vantis and BDO Stoy Hayward.

Vantis notified the Regulatory News Service just before noon on Wednesday that it had reached agreement with Numerica and its institutional shareholders to acquire all of its shares.

While the offer values Numerica's equity at £15.8m, Vantis agreed a separate deal that will give BDO Stoy Hayward Numerica's Bristol, Southampton and Manchester offices in return for a £12.1m cash consider
