Election of third female president in ACCA history
The ACCA elected its third female president in its 103-year history, at its annual general meeting last week.
Gill Ball, finance director of the University of Birmingham, currently chairs the ACCA governance committee and is a member of the finance committee.
Ball commented that the role is “very special” because it is elected by the members. “It is a great responsibility to represent them by engaging with policymakers, government officials and a wide range of other stakeholders around the world,” she said.
