"Tax Code"
As a grass roots tax man what I understand by the "Tax Code" is a PAYE code issued by HMRC to an employer to enable him to tax an employee correctly. Do you mean "Tax Legislation"? Is this yet another example of the "Americanisation" of this country's language?
